Turn Your Troubles Into Blessings

Here is something I have experienced in my life that I am sure you have experienced as well. When you are in the middle of a rough patch it seems like it will never end. And the longer these problems hang around, the bigger they seem to be. Can you identify?

God knows how you tick; He made you. He knows you will have many problems and troubles in this life, and He knows that you will struggle with them. For God, the question is not, “Are you going to have troubles in your life”, but “How are you going to handle the troubles in your life?”

How does God want you to handle your troubles?

Our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever. 2 Corinthians 4:17 NLT

God wants you to have the same perspective about troubles in your life that He does. God sees these difficulties in your life as opportunities to demonstrate your faith in Him. He wants you to “take advantage” of the downside of life and by faith overcome them. How do you do this?

You demonstrate your faith in God by remaining strong in your belief in Him no matter what you are going through. Don’t lose faith in God.

You demonstrate your faith in God by turning to God for help. When you lean on God and rely on Him, you are demonstrating faith in Him. God responds to your faith by supplying all the grace you need to deal with your troubles and overcome them.

Grace is God’s divine influence, power, instruction, and direction that get you through the hard times. So, we see that reliance leads to rescue.

You demonstrate your faith in God by continuing to profess Jesus as your Savior no matter what. Never grow weak in your faith and doubt God’s love for you. Never stop professing Jesus as your Savior.

This is a picture of the kind of faith God wants His people to have. This is the kind of faith that will bring you “glory that outweighs the troubles” you have to endure in this life.

When you compare the struggles in this life with the eternal rewards that are coming, you realize that your troubles are really small and last only a little while

So, don’t let the hassles of life get you down! See the opportunity you have in your troubles to bring glory to God and, yes, to yourself! Be a winner! Remain faithful!

Have a great day!

What God wants us to do is to put our troubles in perspective. When you are in the middle of a huge problem it consumes you and it’s size is magnified. But as time passes you have a better perspective of it. Compared to the big picture, it is not so big after all. We know this is true, but when you are in the middles of huge problems, you doubt that it is true. Right?

Here’s what God tells us. The bigger the trouble, the bigger the reward.
