Let God Turn Your Life From A Lemon To Lemonade

Have you ever wondered why certain things happen? Sometimes it makes you wonder. Why is it your child that has a rare form of cancer, or why is it that your wife died and left you alone and lonely, or why is it that there never seems to be enough money to make ends meet? Even God’s people have these thoughts.

Life happens. Things happen. These troublesome things in life happen for different reasons. Some of these things you are responsible for, while other things you have nothing to do with. Nevertheless, they happen. These kinds of things are an unavoidable part of life in this world.

As Christians, we can question God about these things and even be angry and blame Him. Or, we can come to grips with the fact that life is filled with troubles and as God’s people we must continue to be faithful to our Savior even in the difficult times.

For God, this strong determination to live out your faith regardless of the circumstance is clear evidence of your love for Him. Jesus said, “If you love me, you will obey me.” (John 14:23)

There is a wonderful outcome for those who love God even during unwelcome troubles in life.

Romans 8:28 NCV We know that in everything God works for the good of those who love him. They are the people he called, because that was his plan.

Because you continue to be faithful to the Lord in times of difficulty and demonstrate your love for God, your pain and suffering is not for nothing.

God responds to your loving faithfulness by using the downside of life to make you better. God says that, “He works for the good of those who love Him.”

God uses these troubles and problems to craft you into a stronger, more reliable servant of His. This is good for you and it pleases God.

Remember, God created the lemon, but He also invented lemonade! God knows how to turn something sour into something sweet!

So, if it seems like your life is just one great big lemon, let God transform your bitter lemon into a giant glass of sweet, refreshing lemonade!

Love God and remain faithful to Him during the hard times and God will use those unwanted and unpleasant things to make you better.

This is God’s promise to those who love Him!

Have a great day!
